Memories deserve care.

Privacy notice · November 7, 2026

Still by the Door uses the details you provide to prepare and deliver your keepsake, manage your account, take payment, and answer your questions.

What you share

Your account email, dog’s name, memories, music preferences, optional images, order information, and messages to us. Google sign-in provides your basic account identity; we do not receive your Google password or access to your personal Drive through sign-in.

How it is used

Memories and production preferences may be processed by our music-creation provider and reviewed to prepare your song. Payment details go directly to Stripe. Firebase provides authentication, records, and private file storage. Vercel hosts the website. Google Drive provides a delivery copy. Our email provider sends account and order notifications.

Private by default

Your customer page requires sign-in. Download links expire. Your Drive folder is shared with your verified email. Our fictional example is public; customer stories are not automatically placed in a gallery or used in advertising.

Browser storage and cookies

While you write, a draft is saved in this browser tab. You can clear it or download a copy. Sign-in uses a secure session cookie. This version does not include advertising pixels or behavioral analytics.

Your choices

You may download your delivered files, request correction, or ask us to delete your account and memories. Records required for payments, disputes, or legal obligations may need to be retained separately. We will explain any such retention when responding to a request.

Questions and requests

Use our contact form for privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests. We verify account ownership before making changes.
